In October 2013, Concord was awarded the illy Coffee business for the Canadian Market. Despite the brand’s international awareness, they had limited success in the retail market in Canada. Since taking on the brand, Concord has increased illy’s brand exposure and tonnage in the ultra high end coffee market increasing over 20% through increased distribution, store level merchandising (metal rack placement program), and securing in-flyer creative support such as “Italian Themed Events” bundled with other premium Italian positioned products. All this was achieved without an increase in historical price promotion as the brand continues to hold it’s average $60/kg consumer paid price.

For over 15 years Concord has been a partner of ACH (Mazola, Fleischmann’s, BeeHive, Crown, Weber seasonings, Old Tyme) in Ontario and for over seven years in Quebec helping Mazola become the #1 branded cooking oil in Canada. Since May 2012, Concord has been a partner of SunRype, hired to manage the execution of our retail priorities in stores in the Canadian marketplace.
